The running shoe that gets out of the way.
The Arc Runner started with one question: what is the minimum a running shoe needs to do? Not to sell better. Not to look more technical. But to actually serve the foot running in it.
The answer was: protect the sole without muffling the ground signal. Allow the toes to spread without forcing them to. Keep the heel and forefoot at the same height so the body can find its own posture.
Eleven prototypes later, the Arc Runner is what we landed on. It does very little — on purpose.
