Trail Glider on rocky Japanese mountain trail
The Trail Glider

The trail is a better teacher than the gym.

The Trail Glider started as a weekend experiment on the Okutama ridgeline west of Tokyo. Compacted earth, loose rock, steep descents, wet roots — terrains that demand the foot read the ground and respond, not rely on a thick midsole to absorb everything.

The 6mm stack — one millimetre more than the Arc Runner — provides just enough protection for aggressive terrain without sacrificing ground sense. The textured natural rubber outsole grips soft soil and wet stone without synthetic compounds.

It is the most technical shoe we make. On a Japanese mountain trail, it is exactly enough.
